Two Cases of Pulmonary Embolism


Abstract
Pulmonary embolism result in partially or totally occluded pulmonary vascular beds, and may or may not be accompanied by pulmonary infarction, the necrosis of lung tissue that can result from the interference with blood supply.
Two cases of pulmonary embolism in 30 years-old female patient and 64 years-old male patient are presented. Female patient complained dyspnea and chest pain. Sudden syncope and dyspnea was developed in male patient.
Clinical symptom, sign and lung scan findings were compatible with pulmonary embolism.
